I’ve been a Bob Dylan Fan most of life as my dad introduced me to him it at a young age.
We decided to see Bob Dylan at Cork’s Marquee as it was the nearest show to us on the 2011 tour. My dad booked us flight and a hotel and where good to go.
The review of the event in the Irish Examiner said ‘Last night was the best I’ve seen or heard him; arguably one of the best nights in the tent. Honestly!’. I am so pleased that we got to see Dylan on a good night in such a brilliant venue.
My favourite tracks on the night where ‘Ballad of Hollis Brown’ and ‘I Dreamed I Saw St. Augustine’ As it was my first time seeing Dylan, every track was amazing. The photo on this article was taken during The Ballad of Hollis Brown, Dylan stood away from his keyboard and came to centre stage, the lights went down with one light shining on him, he was playing the guitar and owned the stage.
There is not much footage on Youtube from the night but I have found a video which is very similar to how Dylan sang Ballad of Hollis Brown
