The Rolling Stones At the Principality Stadium Cardiff
I’ve listened to the stones for the past 8 years, my friend got me into them while on a trip to St Andrew’s. Since then I’ve listened to the greatest hits and bought all the albums in between. I’m old fashioned and like to have the physical CD 🙂
Manchester would have been easier for me to get to geographically but they were playing on the 5th of June when I was on Holiday in the Dominican Republic. I love Cardiff so when I realised the date worked for me, I signed up for the presale and bought my ticket. I’ve got a lot of family in Cardiff and they kindly put me up for the night. It was lovely to tie up a gig and seeing family, two of my favourite things.
I’ve been to the Principality Stadium once before in 2017 to see Coldplay which was an incredible evening in an impressive venue holding around 70,000 fans. You can ready about the Coldplay concert here.
My seat was in the gods which I was well prepared for as I not paying the extortionate prices to sit near to the stage. As I’ve not seen them before and they are one of the few legendary bands from 1960’s that I love and have not seen, I did not mind, I just wanted to be there.
Below I’ve added some pictures from the show along with the setlist some marketing material and tour posters past and present.
