I have been a fan of Keane since I first heard the Album Hopes And fears when I was 12, ever since I’ve bought every album they released and went to as many live performances as possible. I’ve seen them in Liverpool Twice and Birmingham once. So when Tom Chaplin announced his first Solo album and tour, I wasn’t going to miss it. I bought the album(which is superb) and row C seats for his show in the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall.
The evening was fantastic with a range of tracks from his new album and from his earlier Keane years. The crowed where very engaged and I felt that everyone seemed to enjoy the evening. His band where on point and didn’t miss a beat, there cover of Penny Lane went down very well with the locals.
Band: Sebastian Sternberg, Rosie Langley, Tobie Tripp and Beau Holland
